title: Terms of Use description: Terms of use for Kiosko.
Effective as of August 27, 2026.
1. Who licenses the app
Kiosko is published by Juan Carlos Correa Arango (“Sereno”), from Bogotá, Colombia. By purchasing or using the app you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
Distribution is handled through Apple. Apple’s terms (Apple Media Services, App Store) govern the purchase, refunds, and your Apple account. Sereno does not process your card.
2. License
You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Kiosko on Apple devices associated with your account, under the terms of the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement, except as provided here.
The source code and trademark are not sold. Reverse engineering, redistribution, or offering the app as a service to third parties are not permitted.
3. What Kiosko is and is not
Kiosko is a reading tool. It organizes news according to the curation criteria you define and queries the corresponding sources’ APIs or feeds.
Kiosko is not a media outlet, does not produce the news, and does not warrant that any source is complete, current, or accurate. Each outlet’s editorial judgment is its own. What enters your newsstand is up to you.
4. Third-party content
Headlines, text, photos, and trademarks you see inside Kiosko belong to their authors or outlets unless stated otherwise. The app displays them to facilitate personal reading.
Do not use Kiosko to republish, sell, or exploit that material as your own. If a rights holder asks us to remove a source, we will evaluate the request at support@sereno.tech.
5. Source availability
APIs and feeds may change, throttle traffic, or disappear without notice. That does not constitute a breach by Sereno. The app’s price covers the software as provided, not a continuous supply of any particular outlet.
6. Price
Kiosko is offered as a one-time purchase on the App Store, at the price shown in your country’s listing. Taxes and Apple’s commission are set by Apple. A future price change does not bind those who already purchased that version, unless Apple provides otherwise for its channel.
7. Prohibitions
- Using the app to saturate or abuse sources’ APIs.
- Attempting to circumvent paywalls or an outlet’s technical measures.
- Passing off the software or its results as an official service of those outlets.
8. Warranty and liability
Kiosko is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by Colombian law, Sereno is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or decisions you make based on a news item read in the app.
Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Consumer disputes are subject to Colombian authorities and procedures. Contact: support@sereno.tech.
